Wednesday, August 9th, 2017Mr. Martin issued a press release announcing that the RCMP had agreed to a monetary settlement, and to apologize, to resolve a negligent investigation and defamation civil suit brought by M+A against the RCMP on behalf of Mrs. Ladha. This civil suit arose from criminal charges brought against her on May 16, 2011. On November 22, 2013 Mrs. Ladha was acquitted following a 23 day criminal trial.
