Tamara Duncan has practiced criminal law since 1998; for 10 years as a partner at Copeland, Duncan in Toronto and since 2009 with Martin + Associates, Vancouver.  She is a member in good standing of both the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of British Columbia.

Tamara is an Honors English and Philosophy graduate of the University of Western Ontario. She studied law at Queens University. In both the trial and appellate Courts, Tamara has defended all manner of serious criminal charges, including homicides, organized crime, narcotics offenses and complex fraud allegations.  She contributes legal briefs to the Special Advocates pool in National Security cases, and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association, the Law Union of Ontario, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Innocence Canada.
